What To Expect (pumping consult)

Pumping can be challenging—let’s simplify.

Maybe you’ve been pumping for awhile or maybe you haven’t opened your pump. If pumping will be part of your life at all, it’s important everything functions properly.

When I come to your house, I’ll bring a wide array of sanitized flanges (9mm-25mm) in the cutest rolling trolley. I will measure both nipples using a tape measure. Based on that measurement, you will try on several flange sizes and styles. I like to think of flange fitting as trying on shoes. While you may be a certain “size”, you have to walk around and see if that particular shoe fits, Flange sizing is very similar. We will do a full pumping session using your pump and my supplies. I will guide you through exactly what you should be seeing and feeling. We’re looking for incredible comfort, milk literally spraying out, and great milk output. Most moms say they can’t believe how comfortable pumping is with the right size!
